Download DetailsHONG KONG, September 9, 2022 – Accompanied by the enthusiasm and cheers of Duffy and Friends fans, the arrival of LinaBell, the new and inquisitive fox friend of Duffy the Disney Bear, marks the start of the epic new “Duffy Fans-tasy” at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
All Duffy and Friends fans are invited to join in on the new “Duffy Fans-tasy" experience, where an abundance of exciting encounters and moments await them. The fans-tasy experience presents guests with an array of fun activities and offerings including entertainment, collectibles, tasty delights, hotel offers, and more.

To celebrate the arrival of LinaBell, fans of Duffy and Friends gathered at the Castle of Magical Dreams today to enjoy this long-awaited moment. Senior Vice President of Operations, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Tim Sypko, joined the beloved Duffy and Friends onstage to give a warm welcome to the inquisitive fox friend with energetic vibes.
“With the arrival of LinaBell, a new fans-tasy chapter begins for everyone in Hong Kong! Get ready to dive into the immersive Duffy Fans-tasy with a wide-range of offerings across the Resort, from entertainment, merchandise, food and beverage to hotel staycations. There’s no better place for the fans of Duffy and Friends to gather than at Hong Kong Disneyland,” Sypko said.
Kick start the fans-tasy journey with fandom activities
No matter whom your favorite friend is, there are so many fun activities and ways to celebrate! Be sure to join in on all of the delightful digital fan activities - prepare for new Instagram filters, and the digital electronic lightbox of Duffy and Friends! Guest can also download and use the custom social profile pictures featuring Duffy and Friends to share the fans-tasy joy with others.
To maximize the fun, dress up in Duffy and Friends-themed colors and outfits with friends. It is bound to be the biggest Duffy and Friends fans party ever seen in Hong Kong Disneyland!
Fandom activity #1: Explore the footprints of LinaBell and other Duffy and Friends
With inspiration from the inquisitive fox, LinaBell, guests can look for special little clues across the park through their own magnifying glass to find footprints of Duffy and Friends.
Join the Mickey and Friends Celebration on Main Street, U.S.A., where LinaBell will appear on the Main Street Express, together with other favorite Disney friends. Be sure to welcome LinaBell and take photos as she appears!
Next, check out the gorgeous floral decorations on Main Street, U.S.A., LinaBell will be here with Duffy or one of his friends to greet guests from September 10. The seven colored butterfly decorations are inspired by Duffy and Friends. Meeting beloved characters in person always makes for a memorable moment! Guests who would like to meet Duffy and Friends can get a Disney Standby Pass on the official website or mobile app with the information of their park tickets or membership cards after entering the Park on a first-come-first-served basis.
Continue your journey at the Animation Academy! Learn how to draw your own intelligent fox friend for a perfect keepsake. Spot more special moments created by cast members as they draw gorgeous colorful pavement art featuring the adorable little fox from September 9 to 11.
Fandom activity #2: Enjoy tasty LinaBell-themed treats
After thoroughly exploring the park, fill up on the fans-tasy energy with a series of LinaBell themed delicacies, prepared by the park and hotel’s many restaurants. Guests can enjoy delicious and photo-worthy LinaBell-themed #Eatertainment.
Gather together and enjoy a soft serve at Midtown Delights. Don’t forget to indulge on waffles, donuts, cookies and cheesecakes at Outdoor Vending Carts and at Main Street Bakery. At the Main Street Corner Cafe Hosted by Coca-Cola®, fans will fall in love with the fancy Afternoon Tea Set. The tea set has three tiers of eye-catching delights as well as the irresistible LinaBell Peach Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie.
Photo worthy meal options can also be enjoyed at the hotels. Reserve a dessert dinner buffet at Enchanted Garden Restaurant or feast on afternoon tea at the World of Color Restaurant. A full tummy and plenty of fun shares on social media await fans!
There are also a variety of delicate Duffy and Friends themed desserts such as donuts, lollipops, and colorful cakes available for guests to try.
Fandom activity #3: Capture your fans-tasy smile in a snap
The resort will gradually roll out up to 30 new LinaBell-themed merchandise ranging from a series of headbands, keychains, bags, accessories, stationery pieces, and household items. Be sure not to miss out the Hong Kong Disneyland exclusive LinaBell fluffy tail accessory! While shopping, visit Marty’s General Store and photograph the 37-inch LinaBell plush on a swing or the LinaBell plush sitting on a wooden box, welcoming guests.
With the online exclusive “LinaBell Photo Pass Bundle,” guests can capture the best shot with LinaBell. Not only will guests get to encounter the curious new fox (for two persons only), they will also be given a charming LinaBell plush toy. The highlight of this experience is having photos of your fans-tasy journey taken by our professional Disney photographers, who will provide unlimited digital downloads as well as 8R printed photos with a 6R framed photo.

Hong Kong Disneyland asks for guests’ kind understanding and compliance with the following requirements when visiting the park. Guests must:
- use the “LeaveHomeSafe” app, fulfill the “Vaccine Pass” vaccination requirement and are not holding the “Red Code” or “Amber Code” as required by law upon entering designated premises including the Park and restaurants for dine-in. For details, please refer to the latest visit arrangements at https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/guest-services/health-and-safety/;
- purchase their tickets in advance and make park visit reservation up to 90 days in advance of their visit, via the Hong Kong Disneyland reservation website;
- confirm that they do not have a fever or any respiratory symptoms.
- go through temperature screening before entering the Park; and
- wear a face mask during their visit, except when consuming food or drink at catering premises.
