HONG KONG, DECEMBER 16, 2023 – Hong Kong Disneyland Park today celebrated the milestone visit of its 100 millionth guest.

The lucky guests, the Chen family from Hong Kong, consist of five passionate Disney fans – a mother, father, their two-year-old daughter and her grandparents – and happen to be Magic Access members. The Chen family were celebrating the mother’s birthday at the resort and were delighted to be the 100 millionth guests. They also expressed their excitement at getting to experience the brand-new attractions in World of Frozen, the world’s first and largest Frozen-themed land, for the first time.

A surprise moment was arranged to welcome the 100 millionth guest in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams. A certificate and gift hamper were presented to the Chen family by Michael Moriarty, Managing Director, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in their Christmas outfits also joined the group photo with the guests for a surprise moment.

“We are grateful to the millions of guests who have continually supported and visited Hong Kong Disneyland, making it a part of their magical memories for 18 years and an iconic tourism landmark in the region,” said Moriarty. “As ‘Frozen fever’ takes over the city with the newly opened World of Frozen, we cannot wait to welcome more and more guests from around the world.”

In addition to experiencing World of Frozen, the Chen family added they planned to stay until twilight for a celebratory dinner buffet at Enchanted Garden Restaurant in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.
