Download DetailsHONG KONG, July 13, 2026 – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is bringing more magic, excitement, and unforgettable Disney experiences to runners with the launch of the brand-new Magic Run Fest – presented by AIA Vitality, taking place on November 28–29, 2026. Evolving from the resort’s beloved annual 10K Weekend, the reimagined running festival invites guests, diehard fans, casual joggers and avid runners from around the world to embark on magical journeys through the park’s immersive themed lands alongside their favorite Disney friends and Pixar pals.
This running festival will excite all runners with a lineup of themed races designed for participants aged 3 and above, including the Zootopia 10K, Pixar 5K, Duffy and Friends 3K, and Frozen 3K. Along the way, beloved characters will cheer on runners at every turn – bringing the spirit of Disney storytelling and enchanting entertainment throughout every step of the journey. Public registration (www.hongkongdisneyland.com/hkdl/magic-run-fest/) opens from July 29 to September 27, 2026. Guests who register on or before August 4 can enjoy an early bird offer.

An All-Star Race Lineup for Every Runner
Bringing together spirited competition, familiar Disney and Pixar stories, and festival-style fun, Magic Run Fest offers something for every type of runner.
The high-energy Zootopia 10K invites runners to unleash their wild inner self in the race, either casually in Fun Group or timed in Race Group. Participants can challenge themselves to “Try Everything" alongside Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde and fellow Zootizens as they race through the resort.
For the first time, the Pixar 5K will feature both a casual Fun Group and a competitive Race Group, giving participants the opportunity to have fun with friends and family. Experience the “Joy” of running through the park while you see Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. & Mrs. Incredible and other Pixar pals along the route.
Runners can let friendship lead the way at Duffy and Friends 3K as they step into a world filled with comfort and wonder with Duffy and all his friends, where togetherness always takes the gold. Meanwhile, the inspiring Frozen 3K invites participants to race "Into the Unknown" through World of Frozen, with Anna and Elsa cheering them on from the sidelines. Kids can continue the fun at the complimentary fun zone, where they can stretch, jump, run, and discover the joy of sports and active play.
Dress Up and Shine on the “Disney-Style Runway”
The excitement begins long before event day as runners prepare their one-of-a-kind look. Each participant will receive a runner’s pack featuring a themed T-shirt and a festival-exclusive wristband accessory, so they can get into the Disney spirit before the event even begins.
Guests can further elevate their race-day style with the latest apparel and accessories available through the Hong Kong Disneyland eStore. Whether participating solo or as part of a team, runners are encouraged to unleash their creativity for a chance to win Disney-Style Runway Awards. Outstanding individual and group looks will be recognized at the award ceremony, with prizes sponsored by Skechers, the Official Apparel and Footwear Sponsor.
This year, Presenting Sponsor AIA Vitality will also sponsor exciting prizes for the winners of the Zootopia 10K and the Pixar 5K race groups.
